A life is made of the cycle of events whether you’re conscious of it or not.
In other words, every one has his or her own story called “Life”.
This comic skillfully describes such a kind of human stories.
It started out as rather boring, since all the pages were so calm. Not so dramatic and not with much ups and downs.
Then, toward the last 30 pages out of the 304 pages, suddenly the story starts moving.
The dynamic to the end is just unbelievable and the early simpleness that seemed boring now seems to make the ending even better.
The manga begins as Kanae Sekiguchi, proprietor of the Tsuki no Yu bathhouse, struggles to reopen her business after the unexplained disappearance of her husband…(Source: MU)
The story has 4 elements, if I categorize them.
Human, Mystery, Comedy and Romance.
And consistently “calmness” stays all through he story.
You can sense it from the description, layout, and the lines but it’s not cheap kind of calmness. It’s adding the weight to the story with depth.
The after-taste is beyond description. Highly recommended.
